By installing three emergency stops on the machines, production was successfully halted in a timely manner during scrap situations or potential accidents, preventing material losses and protecting the operator. Considering that each machine produces 2,400 pieces per day and that each piece is valued at $0.50, it is estimated that the emergency stops prevent approximately $4,680 per year in losses due to scrap and unplanned shutdowns. This measure directly contributes to improving safety, protecting personnel, and reducing production costs.
