During a EOS mold pm, the process was to remove the whole tool. This required an est. of approximately 24hrs down time to complete. A new procedure was developed to remove only the “B” half of the tool to pm and complete the “A” half pm while it is still in the press. Eliminating any issues with reconnecting the hydraulic lines. Total down time for the complete pm is now approximately 12hrs or less. This is for a total cell. Meaning both Substrate and overmold.
