We have experienced delays in PPAP submission/approval because Quality team-members have waited until the very end of launch to request RML from material vendors, which is part of PPAP submission. I have created a step in which the Quality person has "request & upload RML" as part of that checklist in IQMS when the BOM is created - early on in launch. This should lead to not waiting on slow responding vendors for RML documents when it comes time to submit PPAP.
