Prior to this Kaizen team members were required to self position a hand held fixture and use a hammer to manually install a clip to the Door Back assembly. Two team members coordinated to improve this process. They took the fixture head, fabricated a nesting fixture and mounted it to an arbour press. Not only did this modification mitigate the risk of potential of injury it increased productivity.
