There are no pictures because this is an IQMS Kaizen. We currently are manually typing in every single line item release for Kawasaki demand on the sales orders for Booneville, Maryville and Lincoln companies. This is for every single PART# for every sales order going 3 months out- that is a lot of entries. This takes us a whole day of data entry every other week. We had to create the releases by manually typing into IQMS using excel spreadsheet emailed to us. Then on the off weeks we looked to update any changes manually. With cooperation of Colby Williams at RUN EDI LLC (IT contractor) we were able to create an EDI dump process for 90days for all three companies demand. This will save us total of 33 hours a month (3- 8hr days of entering original demand 3 hours every other week in between on updates) in monotonous data entry for sales demand entry. Thank you to our contractor and all my time in meetings making sure this was done to our specifications.
