LOUISVILLE, KY. – Revere Plastics Systems continues its rollout of an exciting new offer October 20-21 at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo in Louisville, Ky. There, Revere will demonstrate its new parts review process that quickly and effectively helps innovate cost-saving solutions for nearly any production plastic– or metal– part.
“We’re doing exciting things with engines and other parts that used used to be metal,” said Doug Drummond, Director of New Business Development for Revere. “The outdoor, lawn garden and power equipment industry is actually one of the most exciting applications for it, we can’t wait to show the folks there in Kentucky what we can do.”
Visitors to booth #9019 will get the opportunity to see the results of Revere’s expertise in real time, and they’ll have an expert review their part or part designs and get cost savings estimates on the spot. If you want to come away from the GIE+Expo with an idea of what you could save with Revere, Drummond says you should bring a CAD drawing.
“The process is fast, easy and of course it’s free,” Drummond said. “We like to send you back home with more than just some new ideas, we want you to bring home the bottom line.”

KAIZEN
Kaizen is an approach to creating continuous improvement through the elimination of waste.
The size and scope of a kaizen can vary. At Revere we define it as “a quick improvement that eliminates waste and can be accomplished without major assistance from outside your natural work group”.
We have set a company goal to complete >300 kaizens per month by the start of Q4, 2024. To achieve this goal it will take every team member in the company.
Here is a presentation What Is A Kaizen that explains the following;

Meet Up With Revere At The MAPP, Inc. Benchmarking And Best Practices Conference
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – This October, the United States’ leading plastics trade association, MAPP, Inc., will host its 2016 Benchmarking and Best Practices conference. Billed as a “no-nonsense” gathering for top plastics executives, the conference annually provides the best opportunity for plastics manufacturers to exchange working knowledge that helps the entire industry grow.
As a leader in offering innovative plastics solutions, Revere Plastics Systems will be a part of that exchange, and you can meet up with top Revere executives at the Indianapolis conference.
“It seems weird until you’ve been to a MAPP Benchmarking Conference that a bunch of competitors meet up to share information, but it’s really a great event,” said Revere Plastics Systems President Glen Fish. “It’s great being in a place with nothing but fellow professionals, talking shop.”
The Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference takes place October 13th and 14th.

Join Revere In Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the Briggs & Stratton St Jude’s Car Show
POPLAR BLUFF, MO. – For the tenth consecutive year, Briggs & Stratton teams up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to present one of Southeast Missouri’s largest vintage automobile events, and Revere Plastics Systems is along for the ride.
On September 10th, 2016, collectors and enthusiasts will gather to get up-close views of some of the world’s most beautiful and valuable vehicles. The one-day event will feature a silent auction, live entertainment and more than 150 vintage cars. Better yet, it will once again raise money for research that helps save children’s lives at the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
As a supplier of high quality plastics for Briggs & Stratton, Revere joining this cause seemed natural, said Director of New Business Development Doug Drummond.
“It made sense from any angle,” Drummond said. “It’s a local event that many of our employees and partners attend every year, plus it helps out a great cause. We’re honored to be a part of it, I know a few gearheads in our Poplar Bluff plant are especially excited.”
